- Full name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number
- PAN card, Aadhaar number, and KYC / CKYC documents
- Bank account details (IFSC, account number) for transaction processing
- Demat account details for stock broking services
- Risk profile, investment goals, and financial background
- Nominee details as required for mutual fund folios and insurance policies
- Device information, IP address, browser type, and platform usage logs
- Communication records (emails, chat logs) for service and compliance purposes
2How We Use Your Information
- To onboard you and complete KYC / CKYC / AML verification as required by SEBI, AMFI, and IRDAI
- To facilitate mutual fund transactions (lumpsum, SIP, redemption, switch)
- To process stock broking orders and demat account services
- To facilitate insurance policy issuance, renewal, and documentation
- To send transaction confirmations, account statements, NAV alerts, and regulatory communications
- To comply with SEBI, AMFI, IRDAI, PMLA, and Income Tax reporting obligations
- To resolve complaints and respond to regulatory enquiries
- To improve our platform and personalise your experience
3Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared with:
- Our registered partner platforms for mutual fund order processing and execution
- Our registered broking partner for stock broking, demat, and trading services
- AMFI-registered AMCs – for mutual fund folio creation and transaction processing
- Insurance companies – for policy issuance, renewals, and claims processing
- CKYC Registry (CERSAI) – for central KYC verification
- Payment gateways and banks – for secure payment and premium processing
- Depositories (NSDL / CDSL) – for demat and securities holding
- Regulators (SEBI, IRDAI, AMFI, Income Tax Department, FIU-IND) – as required by law
4Data Security
We use SSL/TLS encryption, secure cloud infrastructure, and role-based access controls. Sensitive data such as PAN, bank details, and demat information are masked in our systems. Passwords and OTPs are never stored in plain text. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure — please keep your credentials and OTPs confidential and never share them with anyone, including WealthEasy staff.
5Data Retention
Your data is retained for the period mandated by SEBI Regulations, IRDAI guidelines, PMLA 2002, and Income Tax laws — typically 5 to 8 years after account closure or last transaction, whichever is later. Data held by our partner platforms is subject to their own retention policies as primary regulated entities.

- Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
- Request deletion of data (subject to regulatory retention obligations)
- Opt out of marketing and promotional communications at any time
